The City Water Project (CWP) aims to improve people’s access to clean drinking water by promoting consumption where water is already clean and improving quality where it is not. (Over 3.5 billion people lack access to clean and safe drinking water.)
In each “city campaign,” CWP will cooperate with local water managers, stakeholders, journalists and citizens in an effort to collect and distribute accurate information on water quality, understand citizen perceptions of this quality (and use of the water), and find long term solutions that improve water quality and increase consumption of clean, safe drinking water.
